Startup Tip Of The Week: Utilize Local University Resources
Sunday, January 21st, 2007
Don’t spend tons of money subscribing to expensive databases and market research lists. Most universities offer these databases to their students free of charge. Hoovers, LexisNexis, Factiva, etc. are all there and usually for free. If you’re a student-entrepreneur (student-athlete was so 20th century), take advantage of this. If you’re not a student entrepreneur, find one of your friends who probably is. Take a trip to the school of business library, and get whatever you need. At close to 40k a year for a good college education, milk your college resources for all they’re worth.
